One Hand Clapping is a unique game in which you sing into the mic to control the game. Singing has magically affects on the world and the characters that inhabit it, whether it be changing the terrain or making new friends, your voice shapes the adventure!

This is a capstone project, where I am the Lead Designer. I worked to make sure mechanics helped explore the voice in a variety of different ways. Later on, the project got picked up by THQ Nordic's HandyGames publishing division, and is set to release December 2021!

Quick Mechanics I've Designed (Pre-release footage)

"Constellation Generation" is a twist on Terrain Generation. Instead of walking on the sound you sung, you sing notes in order to connect stars, just like a song! The circle on the right shows your progress, and getting about 80% complete will consider the puzzle "complete".

Terrain Regeneration is a simple spectacle mechanic where you hold a note in order to rebuild a bridge. This is used in quite a few extra places around the game to give a sense of wonder to your power.
